A woman railway employee was run over and killed by a train when she was crossing the tracks near Bhubaneswar station here, railway sources said today.
The 35-year-old woman, identified as Madhusmita Pradhan, was posted at Bhubaneswar railway station and was staying at her quarter near the station.
After the accident yesterday, she was taken to hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival, the sources said.
Pradhan, a widow, was on leave yesterday, the sources said.
