A 26-year-old woman was allegedly raped by three persons, including her husband and brother-in-law, in Badaut area here, police said today.
"She was subjected to mental and physical torture ever since her marriage over dowry because of which she had been living with her parents for the past six months," they said.
"Her husband, brother-in-law and another person kidnapped her on April 23 and took her to a secluded place where she was gangraped. Yesterday, the three men threw her along the Delhi- Yamunotri highway and fled," police said.
An FIR has been filed and hunt is on for the trio, police said, adding that the woman has been sent for medical examination.
