A woman, who was found roaming in a forest area on the city outskirts, was today taken into custody for questioning, police said.
Based on information that a woman was moving in a suspicious manner in Viraliyur area for the last five days, police rushed to the spot and took her into custody.
Police are questioning the woman, yet to be identified, whether she belongs to any Maoist group, they said.
