The body of a woman was found wrapped in a polythene outside a temple in south Delhi's Vasant Vihar area, police said today.
On receiving a call at 4.30 AM about a woman's body, wrapped in black polythene, lying outside Ganganath Mandir near Vasant Vihar, police reached the spot and sent it to a mortuary, a senior police officer said.
"The woman was aged between 25-30. There were old injury marks on the left arm. We are trying to ascertain her identity. Prima facie, she was murdered but the exact cause of her death will be determined after an autopsy," the officer said.
