The body of a young woman, who was allegedly murdered, was found today inside a gunny bag in Nohar area of Rajasthan, bordering Haryana.
The woman, aged around 26-28 years, had a bullet wound on her forehead, a Rajasthan police officer said. She was prima facie shot from a close range.
The body was found by a farmer in a field in Jananiya village of Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan, SHO Vijay Meena said.
"It appears that she belongs to Haryana and may be from any bordering district like Hisar, Fatehabad or Sirsa," he said.
A case under Section 302 (murder) has been registered against unknown persons.
