A woman, in her late thirties, today allegedly committed suicide by shooting herself at her resident in Navada village here, police said.
According to the woman's family, Seema shot herself with the .32 bore revolver, which is licensed to her husband Jagjit Singh, police said.
Seema was brought to Escorts Fortis hospital here in the morning and later died in the Intensive Care unit, police said.
Father of the victim Baburam said he found her totally comfortable as she didn't speak of any problem which she might be facing, police said.
The family of Jagjit also confirmed that there were no such issues in the family which would have led to Seema take the extreme step, police said.
SHO Saran Inspector Rajinder Singh said that a case is being registered on the complaint of Baburam.
