A 35-year-old woman was seriously injured after three men attacked her while she was returning to her home in Bhik village here, the police said today.
"The incident took place when Kanchan was returning to her village after meeting her husband in jail on Wednesday," police said.
Kanchan was seriously injured in the incident and shifted to a local hospital.
According to the police, an old enmity could be the reason behind the incident.
