A 30-year-old woman was shot dead allegedly by two unidentified persons while she was travelling in a roadways bus in Chandpa area here, police said today.
Neetu Singh was returning from Aligarh when two persons stopped the bus and shot at her, Circle officer, Narendra Dev Singh said, adding that she died on the spot.
The woman had a dispute with her husband following which she went to Aligarh for a hearing in her divorce case, he said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, the CO said, adding that the matter is being probed.
