Woman, son abducted

A 28-year-old woman and her

8-year-old son were allegedly abducted by one person from here, police said today.

A complaint in this regard was filed by the victim's husband, Kanhaiyalal, yesterday, they said.

According to the complainant, a resident of Khatriwada in Old Faridabad, his wife left home with their younger son, Mayank, on July 24 and hasn't returned since then. She had gone to school where she works as a teacher

Kanhaiyalal called her several times, but she didn't receive the call initially and later her phone was found to be switched off, police said.

He smelled some foul play when four men warned him against taking any attempts to search his wife and kids. The following day, Kanhaiyalal also got a life threat over phone, police said.
 

Based on suspicion, he filed a complaint against Ehsan, a resident of Old Faridabad, for abducting his wife and son.

A complaint has been registered under sections 365 and 506. Police were trying to trace the location of the mobiles the woman as well as the accused named in the complaint, Investigating officer ESI Vijendra Kumar said.
