A 22-year-old youth allegedly stabbed his mother to death after she lodged a police complaint against him in Jansath town of the district, police said.
Deepak killed Kavita (45) last night after she filed a complaint against him with the police over some dispute, SSP Deepak Kumar said.
The accused has been arrested and an investigation is underway. The body has been sent for post-mortem, the SSP said.
