Women will be allowed to travel for free in Uttarakhand Roadways buses on the occasion of 'Raksha Bandhan' tomorrow, Chief Minister Harish Rawat today said.
He said the facility was being provided to women so that they could easily go to their brothers to tie rakhis on their wrists.
Sending his greetings to the people of the state on the eve of the occasion, Rawat described 'Rakha Bandhan' as a festival which inspires us to respect women.
