A young woman and her three- year-old son were charred to death in Uttar Pradesh's Sahjora village, police said today.
Sundari Devi (25) and her son Vivek were alone in the house this afternoon when the neighbours heard cries for help. On reaching the house the duo were found ablaze, police said.
The two were rushed to the district hospital where they succumbed to injuries, SP Promod Kumar said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further investigations are on.
