A 32-year old woman died after consuming poison in a Bihar village following which three persons, including her husband, were arrested on the charge of abetting suicide, a police officer said.
Meera Devi, a mother of four children, consumed some poisonous substance after being beaten up by her husband last night, he said.
Her husband, his brother and another accomplice were today arrested on the charges of assault, besides abetting suicide and trying to dispose of the dead body secretively, Kursela Station House Officer (SHO) Anuj Kumar said.

The incident occurred at Muradpur Thakur Tola in Katihar district.
"Meera's family members became worried and took her to a nearby Primary Health Centre and then to a local quack for treatment, but she died. They then buried her body close to a rivulet in the area," he said.
The SHO said the police swung into action after villagers informed them about the incident.
Her husband Ashok Sah, his brother Shankar and driver of the vehicle on which the body was taken to the rivulet, one Shankar Kumar Jha have been arrested, he said.
Meera's body has been exhumed and sent to Katihar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
