Union MoS for Women and Child Development Krishna Raj today said the condition of women has improved in recent times and they were excelling in all fields including politics, sports and science.
She inaugurated the women and child development complex in Ajmer.
The minister said that women and girls were excelling in the fields of sports, education, science, politics among others and a major positive change for women was visible in the country.
She said that women and girls were being imparted skill development training to boost their confidence.
The state Women and Child Development minister Anita Bhadel said that close to 10 lakh youths have been provided skill training.
1,000 girls were also given training at a camp in Ajmer which also concluded today.
Senior officers of the department and others were also present on the occasion.
