Women injured in tiger attack

A group of women from Choi village had gone out to collect grass from the Belgarh forest area when the big cat pounced on them, divisional forest officer PS Srivastava said.

While most of the women managed to escape, two of them who sustained were injuries admitted to a hospital in Haldwani where their condition is said to be out of danger, he added.
