All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) today asked women to turn obstacles and difficulties into opportunities by thinking positive.
Vice President, AIDWA, Jagmati Sangwan, during the ninth state-level meeting of the organisation here, laid emphasis on the need to bring a change in the attitude and mindset of people to make more opportunities available for women.
Discussing socio-economic scenario and role of women in the country, Sangwan also stressed on empowering the structure of the organisation in order to move forward women movement more effectively.
On the second and concluding day tomorrow, discussions on topics like public distribution system, rising inflation, female foeticide and atrocities against women will be held, state general secretary AIDWA, Kusum Saiwal, said.
