"Women should not only get their rights but also complete protection. In the 21st century, both men and women have equal rights", Tewari said while addressing a press conference here.
"Both men and women have contributed equally for economic development of the country," he said.
"It is imperative for everyone to accord top priority to women's safety in present scenario", Tewari said replying to a query.
