Former model and actress Jerry Hall says she is not worried about ageing and cannot understand why it bothers so many women.

Hall, who will turn 60 next year, said she is not worried about reaching the milestone because with age comes "beauty and respect", reported Female First.

"So many women are being weak about ageing. I find it annoying. It's ridiculous to imagine you can stay young forever and live forever.

"It's taking away from young people. There's a beauty and respect in age," she said.

Hall, who has four children with her ex Sir Mick Jagger, said she would rather age naturally than undergo cosmetic surgery.

"I haven't done a single thing to my face. I do have lines, I laugh a lot... Never in a million years (would I have work done). Some women take fat from their bottom and put it in their upper lip... I do yoga, I do exercise, and I put on face cream.

"I smoke, I drink, I have fun. Laughing a lot is really good for you, embracing your children's future and embracing your grandchildren and not having regrets and not being bitter and not being angry," she said.
