Women, youth loot boy of cash, card who shared auto with them

A 19-year-old boy was looted of cash and valuables by two women and a youth who he shared an auto rickshaw ride with from Anand Vihar railway station to his home in Noida, police said today.

The incident happened in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar area on January 1, when Gautam (19) took the auto where the two women and the youth were already sitting, they said.

It was decided that the fare would be split and Gautam would have to pay Rs 100, they added.

While the auto rickshaw was passing through Mayur Vihar Phase-1 area, the two women and the youth overpowered Gautam and snatched his bag, Rs 2,000 cash, ATM card and pushed him out of the vehicle, they said.
 

Police have registered a case and is trying to identify the accused.
