A senior leader of Pakistan's Awami National Party today said her party will not surrender to Taliban terrorists after the deadly terror attack on Bacha Khan University that killed 21 people, and will organise death anniversaries of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan next week.

Awami National Party (ANP) chairperson Begum Nasim Wali Khan said the death anniversaries of Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan (Bacha Khan) and Khan Abul Wali Khan will be observed on January 26.

Begum had formed her own party ANP (Wali faction) after political differences with her step-son Asfandyar Wali Khan after the death of her husband Khan Abdul Wali Khan.

The ANP will express solidarity with the bereaved families of Bacha Khan Varsity carnage, she said.

Begum said she is never scared of such acts of cowardice adding that Khan Abdul Wali Khan survived four bomb attacks and he remained alive.

The deadly terror attack on Bacha Khan University killed 21 people, mostly students on Wednesday.

The attack that killed 19 students, a professor and a staffer was a grim reminder of an assault on an army-run school in Peshawar on December, 2014 that killed 150 people, mostly students.
