"Wonder Woman" star Lynda Carter has joined the cast of "Supergirl".

The 64-year-old actress, who brought the Amazonian superheroine to life on the small screen, will play the president of the United States on the sophomore season of the CBS-turned-CW drama starring Melissa Benoist, said The Hollywood Reporter.

She will make her first appearance in episode three of season two.

"Supergirl" marks Carter's first TV role in a two years. She last guest-starred on "Two and a Half Men" in 2013, playing herself.

Carter is the second high profile casting for the series after "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Hoechlin was roped in to play Superman/Clark Kent.
