Two persons, including a worker from Assam, were struck dead by lightning at Sankaralingapuram village near Kovilpatti in this district tonight.
The deceased, including Ashraff Ali of Assam, and Janakiraman were standing on the road when they were struck by lightning, killing them on the spot, police said.
