Workshop for young entrepreneurs on in city

A three-week programme has been launched here which is aimed at providing a platform for young Indians to hone their entrepreneurial skills.

The 'Innovate Delhi' programme is being funded by the Stanford GSB SEED Institute of the USA and Delhi government's Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT).

The programme will work with aspiring entrepreneurs to hone their skills in innovation, team-building, and strategy.

"It is a wonderful opportunity for young Indians who are passionate about entrepreneurship to learn from venture capitalists and entrepreneurs... We have been preparing this programme for close to a year now," 'Innovate Delhi' co- founder Ponnurangam Kumaraguru said in a press statement.
 

The programme, which is being held at IIIT here, was launched on June 1 and closes on June 22.

According to organisers, the programme will see students working in teams to develop breakthrough product concepts and co-found new ventures.
