Workshop on cashless transactions for judicial staff

Taking forward the Centre's message of promoting digital transactions in the wake of demonetisation, the Tis Hazari court here will organise a workshop on such transactions for its judicial officers and staff.

A circular issued by west Delhi 'District Legal Service Authority' of the Tis Hazari court said the workshop will be organised on December 17.

"It is hereby informed that in the wake of recent demonetisation move, the west district legal service authority is organising a workshop at Tis Hazari court premises on 'cashless transactions' to train judicial officers and court officials in adopting the alternative payment mode.

"The officers/officials who are willing to attend the same may give their willingness by December 16," it said.
 

The initiative was welcomed by the district and sessions courts employees welfare association.

Pancham Rawat, the association's senior vice president and Deepak Bhardwaj, general secretary said in a statement, "The workshop will give confidence to the judicial staff to use various modes of cashless transactions/ facilities to meet their day-to-day needs without wasting their precious time in long queues outside ATMs and banks.
