Two-time 1,500-meter world champion Asbel Kiprop says the Kenyan athletics federation's decision to suspend and investigate his management company has unfairly linked him to doping.
Kiprop said today he was "offended" to read his name in media reports about doping after the Italian company that represents him, Rosa & Associati, was suspended in April from working in Kenya for six months.
The company represented drug cheats Rita Jeptoo and Mathew Kisorio.

Kiprop, who is not accused of any doping offense, said Athletics Kenya's decision to suspend Rosa and another European agency before an investigation was "not a good move" and meant people might see him as "suspicious."
Kenyan authorities have partly blamed foreign athlete managers for the spike in doping cases but haven't presented any evidence against the two companies.
