After visiting the areas yesterday, they met Deputy Commissioner Manish Ranjan today. Ranjan submitted a report to the team on the implementation and problems faced by the district authorities in executing the scheme, official sources said here.
In his report, the DC pointed out that the villagers favoured construction of more community toilets than private toilets.
As regards to supplying drinking water to consumers, he pointed out non-availability of water testing laboratories and sought funds to set up one in Hazaribagh.
He pointed out that piped drinking water was distributed in 16 places in the district and was possible only after renovation of Charowa dam reservoir.
