World Telugu Conference at Tirupati from Dec 27

Minister for Tourism and Culture V Vasanthakumar and Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathy today said the state government had decided to hold the Telugu plenary session in the town.

About 1,500 people from abroad, 2,000 from various Indian states and 8,000 from Andhra Pradesh, including politicians of different parties, artists, poets and scholars, would participate in the state government sponsored event.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kirankumar Reddy would also attend the conference, they said.
