"Shamitabh" actress Akshara Haasan says now that her sister Shruti has launched her own production house, she would love to act in her films.

Shruti's company, 'Isidro', will focus on short, digital and musical and multimedia content.

"I hope to collaborate with my sister now that she has opened her own production house. If an opportunity arises, I would love to team up with her," Akshara told PTI.

The 23-year-old actress, who made her Bollywood debut in February with the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer, said she would also want to work with her star parents Kamal Haasan and Sarika, but only after a few years.

"I would love to work with my father. It will take me a few years, like to keep working and keep doing better with my work, and I would like to work with my parents when the right opportunity comes."

Akshara walked for designer Rina Dhaka at the ongoing BMW India Bridal Show, yesterday here. The actress, who looked gorgeous in a pink lehenga-choli, said she would like to have an outfit similar to the dress.

"The outfit is treating me beautifully. I didn't expect it to be this light and it is beautiful. It just flows and it is comfortable.

"My wedding outfit will be close to this. To be honest if I do and whenever I do get married, I see myself wearing something very close to this, I am going to ask Rina for it," she said.

When asked if she discusses fashion with her elder sister, Akshara said, "I discuss fashion quite a bit with my sister. We both are two different schools of thought when it comes to fashion. We both have different thoughts about fashion and we have been given freedom to develop our sense and style."

The star said they both even steal each other clothes. "We both are girlie but it is still very different. We both steal each other's clothes. Advantages of having a sister and that too of the same size."

On the work front, the actress hopes it will be an eventful year for her. "Hopefully, I will be making an announcement later this year."

There were reports that she was offered the role of superstar Aamir Khan's daughter in his upcoming film "Dangal" and she rejected it.

A 'surprised' Akshara said, "I was not even offered. So, I am surprised to know I turned it down. Had I been asked, I would have said yes. I am sad it did not happen."

The actress is busy writing scripts nowadays and hopes to do something in that direction in the future.
