Not winning too many awards does not bother bestselling British author Jeffrey Archer who says he would prefer selling 270 million books over having the Booker Prize.
"I've been privileged to win two awards in France, but I confess none in England. But if you're asking if I'd rather sell 270 million books or have the Booker Prize, then I'd rather sell the 270 million books," the 74-year-old writer who has just come out with the latest book in the epic "The Clifton Chronicles" series, says.
"Be Careful What You Wish For", published by Pan Macmillan, is the fourth volume of "The Clifton Chronicles", a saga that crosses continents, and one which in which the lives and loves of Harry, Emma and Giles are tested through friendship, betrayal, and intrigue.
