Online budget accommodation aggregator Wudstay is looking to ramp up presence in 30 more cities by next year as part of its expansion plan across the country.

The company is currently present in 35 cities in the country with 3,000 rooms on offer mainly in the budget segment.

"We plan to be present in 65 cities in next 12 months with a total tally of 10,000 rooms. As of now we are already present in 35 cities," Wudstay Founder and CEO Prafulla Mathur told PTI.

The company is planning to expand in Kolkata, Patna, Churu and Bundi, among others. Currently, it is present in Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune.

"We have raised funds in July from Mangrove Capital Partners and Nimbuzz CEO Vikas Saxena, who invested in his private capacity. We are about to raise more funds in next few months," Mathur said.

He, however, did not share details on the fund raising plan.

Mathur said the company's aim is to provide a decent accommodation at a reasonable price and it has also created 'Wudacre'-- a training module team that trains the staff in the hotels that are with Wudstay.

The company provides standardised and branded rooms mainly in the budget segment. The facilities include complimentary breakfast, free wifi, cable TV and clean washrooms and linen.
