Yashraj Films ties up with WeChat to promote its latest film

China's text and voice messaging service 'WeChat' today said it has tied-up with Yashraj Films to promote the latter's latest offering 'Shuddh Desi Romance'.

As a part of the partnership, a co-branded TVC with the lead stars has been launched across national television. Users can watch this co-branded TVC on youTube, WeChat said in a release.

'Shuddh Desi Romance' is also the blockbuster movie of the month on WeChat's 'BlockbusterMovie' official account where users will get all the behind the scenes action straight from the movie, by simply following this account, it added.

WeChat has also developed special 'Shuddh Desi Romance' stickers with vignettes from the movie. These innovative stickers will give fans an opportunity to express themselves through their favourite stars, it said.
 

The film stars Parineeti Chopra, who is the brand ambassador of WeChat, and Sushant Singh Rajput.

WeChat is also giving its users an exclusive chance to join Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput for a live 'Group Chat' on WeChat on September6, where WeChat users can ask questions to the actors and get instant responses.

This film is scheduled to hit the screens on September 6, 2013.
