A three-member civil society delegation led by senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha today arrived on a second visit to Kashmir and met a senior leader of hardline Hurriyat Conference.

Sinha, journalist Bharat Bhushan and Sushobha Barve from the Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation called upon Aga Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, a senior leader of hardline Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

The delegation met the Hurriyat leader at his residence in central Kashmir's Budgam district.

The delegation is likely to meet Geelani, moderate Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and JKLF chief Yasin Malik tomorrow.

This is the delegation's second visit to the Valley after the unrest broke out here following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani in July.

The delegation earlier visited the Valley on October 25 to break the impasse due to the unrest. Two other members of the delegation then were Wajahat Habibullah, the former chairman of National Commission for Minorities, and Kapil Kak, former Air Vice-Marshall.
