Launching an attack on Rahul Gandhi for pushing for passing pending bills through ordinances, senior BJP leader Yashwat Sinha today said, "He (Gandhi) is the boss. This country is condemned to live with his whims and fancies for the next two-and-a-half months. After that he would be forgotten."
"Rahul Gandhi says tear the ordinance and the cabinet meets and tears the ordinance. He says increase the LPG connections to 12 and the cabinet meets and makes it up. He says I want these bills and the cabinet gets together and say okay we will issue an ordinance. So he is the boss," he told reporters in Bangalore.
Pushed by Rahul Gandhi, the government looks set to soon to bring ordinances on two anti-corruption bills along with three other legislations which could not be passed during the just-concluded Parliament session.
On Rajnath Singh's comments that the party is ready to apologise to Muslims for their mistakes if they voted them to power, Sinha hoped it would make minorities to vote for the party as they did in Gujarat.
