A sixty-year-old farmer, whose mutilated body was found near village Loni in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra earlier this week, was killed by a tiger, a government doctor confirmed today.
"As per the autopsy report, Ramaji Shendre was killed by a tiger," said the Dean of Government Medical College, Dr Manish Shrigiriwar.
Shendre is believed to be the tenth victim of the tiger, though it was not confirmed by forest officials.
