District Zila Parishad president Dr Aarti Fubhate has moved a resolution against the district Collector Sachindra Pratap Singh, in protest after the latter allegedly denied her a meeting with him despite prior appointment.
Fubhate reportedly had an appointment with Singh to discuss the 'Annewari' (value of crop) calculated and submitted to the state government by the district administration.
She said that she, along with her deputy Balasaheb Mangulkar, chairmen of various sub-committees among others, yesterday went to the Collector's office to meet him.

In the general body meeting of the Zila Parishad after the incident, the members passed a resolution demanding Singh's ouster from the district.
A copy of the resolution would be sent to the state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the Chief Secretary, Zila Parishad sources said.
When contacted, the Collector denied the charges, saying, "The Zila Parishad chief had sought my appointment and I granted it. But she never spelt out that she would meet with a delegation of Parishad members."
It is routine procedure to allow only five members of a delegation to meet the Collector, he said and added there was no ill-intent behind the incident.
