The YC workers assembled at Dak Bunglow roundabout and shouted slogans "against the NDA government for spate in crime, deterioration in law and order situation and rising incidents of police atrocities against the minorities" before burning the effigy of the Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Kumar demanded that a special team be set up to probe the spate in police atrocities against the minorities.
