CPIM today congratulated Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) over launch of space shuttle RLV-TD and said the agency's success will provide an impetus to leveraging science and technology for public good.
"Congratulations to ISRO's team at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram on the successful outcome of their decade-long effort.
"The latest success of a Reusable Launch Vehicle will provide a further impetus to leveraging science and technology for public good. #RLV," party general secretary Sitaram Yechury tweeted.
India today successfully launched its maiden 'swadeshi' space shuttle with the winged Reusable Launch Vehicle Technology Demonstrator (RLV-TD) fulfilling its mission objectives in the first crucial test to make space travel easier and cheaper in the future.
