KJP interim President V Dhananjayakumar admitted Yeddyurappa into the party by enrolling him as primary member.
Yeddyurappa also resigned his assembly membership.
Soon after joining KJP, he also unveiled the party flag, which comprised yellow, white and green colours with his photograph embossed in the middle.
