The Kerala government today decided to set up a Yoga and Naturopathy Post-Graduate institute at Karinthalam village in Kasaragod district.
It was also decided to provide 15 acres land on lease for the institute, which will also house a 100-bed hospital.
A decisions in this regard was taken at the state cabinet meeting.
Central Council of Research in Yoga and Naturopathy will be setting up the institute.
The Cabinet also decided to provide Hindustan Newsprint Ltd raw materials like bamboo, eucalyptus, acacia at the rate of Rs 1,000 per tonne during 2017-18 and 2018-19 as a special case.
It was also decided to rectify anomalies in the pay revision of officers of state-owned Transformers and Electronics Kerala Ltd.
