Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made yoga as a "health hamper" for the world.
Yoga is the "golden key to good health" and "good health is the real wealth", Naqvi said adding that yoga, which ensures healthy mind and body, has broken the barriers of religion, region and language.
"It has become the health hamper for the world's wellness," the Union Minister for Minority Affairs said after performing asanas to mark the fourth International Yoga Day at Prabhat Tara Maidan, at Dhurwa area here.
The celebration of International Yoga Day by the entire world community with passion and enthusiasm is another evidence of Indias growing prestige at the global level, he said.
Naqvi, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das and a large number of people from all walks of life, participated in the International Yoga Day programme here.
The chief minister said that the country is giving a message of healthy life to the world through yoga.
Stating that human being is just not a body but a coordination of mind and soul, Das said, yoga is a true medium to ensure happiness.
