Yogi calls on UP governor to discuss upcoming programmes in the state

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today called on UP Governor Ram Naik at Raj Bhavan here.

An official statement issued by the Raj Bhavan said, "The UP chief minister held discussions with the governor on the July 31 meeting of the committee for the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the August 5 meeting of the organising committee of Kumbh-2019."

Adityanath also spoke about the proposed programmes during the July 28-29 visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the August 10 visit of President Ram Nath Kovind to Lucknow, the statement said.

The UP chief minister congratulated the governor for completing four years in office, and presented him with the book 'Unnat Bharat' written by Shankar Aiyar.

 

Adityanath also presented 'Nawab' brand mangoes to the governor.
