'Younger' renewed for season 7

Sitcom "Younger" has secured a seventh run at the TV Land, the network has announced.

The Darren Star comedy, fronted by Sutton Foster, is already into season six.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, with the announcement, "Younger" is on the road to becoming the cable network's longest-running scripted show.

"Season after season, 'Younger' has continued to reach new heights and build an incredibly loyal fan base.

"We love this talented and amazing cast and can't wait to see what Darren has in store for season seven," said Paramount and TV Land president of development and production Keith Cox.

The show follows the 40-year-old recently-divorced Liza Miller (Foster), who undergoes a makeover to pass off as a 26-year-old to avoid starting out at the bottom and lands a job in a publishing house.

 

It also features Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis.
