Police inspector Pravin Kolhe of the Khinavali police station under Shahapur told PTI that the victim Namdeo Mukne, (50) used to come home frequently drunk.

His son Santosh (22) was annoyed with his father's drunken behaviour and wanted to end the problem, the police official said.
