Himanshu, a resident from Bankner, was arrested yesterday and two motorcycles and one snatched purse were also recovered from his possession, the Outer District police said in a press release.
"Narela Police has recovered, two stolen motorcycles and one Scooty along with property at the instance and from the possession of the accused and four cases have been worked out," the release said.
Police arrested Himanshu after a purse snatching incident was registered on May 20. According to the FIR, a man riding on a motorcycle had snatched the victim's purse at 10.30 PM near a bus stop in Narela.
When the victim had followed the snatcher, the accused had fallen from the bike but run away with the purse, as per the FIR.
During investigation, the police team found that the motorcycle was stolen and an FIR was registered in Mahendra Park police station earlier.
