A youth has been arrested and a weapon of offence recovered for murdering and gouging eyes of a minor here for gaining magical power, police said.
In a gruesome incident, a 7-year-old boy Sahil Kumar alias Pinky was found murdered with his eyes gouged out in Kkhandwal village in Satwari belt of Jammu on December 17. The boy's throat was slit.
During investigation number of suspects were questioned and during that Tilak Raj alias Tinka disclosed that he had committed murder for religious sacrifice and to gain tantrik (magical) powers, police said today.
