A 22-year-old man, who allegedly raped a minor girl, was today arrested along with his two relatives, police said.

The alleged crime had taken place on September 24.

Chatrinaka Police arrested the three accused-- Ajith Kumar, his uncle Satish and cousin Sunil Kumar-- from a place here, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) V Satyanarayana said.

The trio runs a small business and the victim knew them, he said.

"On October 1, police had arrested Ajith Kumar after the girl complained that he had been stalking her. However, he was released on bail on the same day," the DCP said.

After being released on bail, Ajith threatened the complainant and her family members with dire consequences and asked them to withdraw the case against him and left, police said.

While the investigation was in progress, on October 5 the girl again lodged a complaint stating that on September 24, Ajith raped her at his house and threatened her not to reveal it to anybody, police said.

"Satish and Sunil were alleged to have stood outside the house keeping a watch on the movement of the family members of the victim while Ajith sexually assaulted the girl," he said.

A case of rape under IPC section besides relevant provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered against the accused.
