One youth has been arrested in connection with theft of goods worth Rs 21 lakh owned by a businessman from cargo terminal at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
According to police, the businessman Om Prakash had hired Jumman Khan (20) to pick goods from the cargo terminal on the night of December 16.
However, the accused took the goods to his rented accommodation in Mangolpuri instead of Samlakha where he had been asked to deliver them.
"On receiving the complaint, we conducted searches and our team reached the place where Khan had hid the goods," an official said.
The goods include smartphones, garments, sport shoes, etc.
