A 20-year-old man was hung upside down from a tree and allegedly beaten to death after he was found in a compromising position with his girlfriend by her family members, the police said today.
On the complaint of the deceased's father, a case was registered against four people and they were arrested, a police offficial said.
"The youth had entered the girl's house in Lala Tola village last night but was caught by her family members who hung him upside down and beat him to death," Pipraich SHO, Arun Shukla said.
The four arrested in the case are the girl's father, mother and two brothers, the police officer said.
