The incident took place yesterday in Izatnagar area of the district when the constable Amarnath Gaur, his son Atul and nephew Deepak beat Dinesh, who was in love with Gaur's daughter, badly, IG law and Order BP Singh said.
Though the victim was rushed to the hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
Further probes are on, the IG said.
