Accusing the BJP-PDP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir of creating a "policy paralysis", Youth Congress activists today held a signature campaign in all the 87 assembly constituencies in the state.
"As part of the coming 'Yuva Akrosh Yatra' against the recently introduced recruitment policy of the BJP-PDP government and unsettled issues of thousands of daily wagers and other educated unemployed youth, a signature campaign and a protest march was held in all the 87 assembly constituencies in the state," a Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) spokesman said.
"The protest was also against the policy paralysis of the current government," he added.

He said the state chief of the Youth Congress Pranav Shagotra visited a number of assembly segments and interacted with the youths and students.
"The state PYC Chief said that this signature campaign is a part of the mass contact programme of the PYC against the growing unemployment, wrong recruitment policies of the government and apathy towards thousands of daily wagers of the state," the spokesman said.
He said that Shagotra told people that the BJP-PDP government has forgotten all the pre poll-promises it had made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
"He said that more than seven lakh educated youths are waiting for jobs and this government has failed to initiate any concrete step in this direction. He said that the PYC has decided to fight for the cause of the youths of the state," the spokesman added.
